Live from SXSW 2014 in Austin, ScHoolboy Q was the next guest for Nardwuar the Human Serviette’s popular interview series. Things piloted with Nardwuar offering Q a gift in the form of the legendary Cheech & Chong rolling paper which would segue into his debut album Oxymoron on Los Angeles gangs. Nard brought out one of our favorite 90s street albums Bloods & Crips Bangin’ on Wax album (R.I.P. Bloody Mary), which ScHoolboy remained adamant on listening to the album in the public given the history of the gang culture in LA.
Transitioning back to the positive, Q’s grade school football in his time at West LA was brought up with some rare shots of his on-the-field play. Before things concluded, the TDE representative decided to rollup some 40-year old rolling paper for a first on Nardwuar. Q would randomly start coughing, which he gave Nardwuar kudos for the official rolling paper being so good. Check after the jump to watch the interview and learn more about South Central native.
