Three days after being arrested for drug possession and questioned for murder, Vybz Kartel was officially charged with murder, conspiracy to murder and illegal possession of a firearm in Jamaica yesterday.
Go-Jamaica reports the reggae star was involved in a conspiracy to murder 27 year-old Barrington ‘Bossie’ Burton, who was slain in July.
UPDATE: After two months, the trial for Vybz Kartel came to a close yesterday with a guilty verdict of murder. Back in 2011, the reggae artist was among the four that were charged with the beating of a man over a stolen firearm. He and the two others who were found guilty, return to court for sentencing on March 27.
