Action Bronson – Big League Chew (prod. Alchemist)
Though he’s more closely associated with Party Supplies, Action Bronson owes just as much of his career to The Alchemist. The two collaborated together on 2012’s Rare Chandeliers mixtape as well as a handful of one-off tracks including “Bad News”, “Decisions Over Veal Orloff”, and “Diagnosis”. Now, the duo reconvenes for a new standalone single titled “Big League Chew”.
Here, we see the real nuances of their creative dynamic: The Alchemist’s production, specifically the funk-leaning drum and bass samples, has just enough punch to accentuate Bronson’s rhymes (Olympic diving and, um, receiving fellatio in a train car) without drawing away attention.
